By downloading, accessing, or using So You're Going To ("SYGT", "the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App without parental consent. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You retain ownership of any photos and content you upload to the App. By uploading content, you grant SYGT a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the App's features (e.g., photo verification, scavenger hunt participation).
You are solely responsible for the content you upload. Do not upload content that you do not have the right to share.
You agree not to use the App to:
Photos taken during scavenger hunts are visible to all participants in that hunt. SYGT does not review or moderate photos shared within hunts and cannot guarantee that all content shared by other participants will be appropriate. By participating, you acknowledge and accept this risk.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms of Service, including but not limited to uploading prohibited content.
Always prioritize your personal safety when using the App. Do not put yourself in dangerous situations to take photos, approach wildlife, or access hazardous areas. SYGT is not responsible for any injury or harm that may occur while using the App.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. SYGT does not guarantee the accuracy of encyclopedic entries or photo verification features. AI-powered photo verification is provided as an assistive tool and may produce incorrect results. It should not be relied upon for species identification in safety-critical situations (e.g., distinguishing edible from poisonous plants).
Photo verification is subject to daily and account-level usage limits. These limits may change at any time without notice.
Information about plants, animals, and the natural world is provided for informational purposes only. Always verify claims about edibility, toxicity, or safety with official sources and qualified experts before acting on them.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SYGT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or any content uploaded by other users.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
